Based off of a cult-favorite, this smoothie is sure to leave you refreshed and glowing from the inside out. This recipe calls for skin care supplements that are not essential to the flavor of the overall recipe- feel free to omit if you do not have.

3-4 8oz smoothies

Ingredients

Strawberry Glaze

cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped

1

tablespoon maple syrup

1

pinch salt

1 1/2

teaspoons apple cider vinegar or 2 tablespoons Hyaluronic acid (optional)

Strawberry Smoothie

1

container (5.3 ounce) Nature’s Fynd Dairy-Free Fy Strawberry yogurt

1 1/4

cups frozen unsweetened strawberries

3/4

cup water or dairy-free milk

1/2

small ripe avocado

1/2

frozen ripe banana

2

tablespoons vegan collagen powder

2

tablespoons coconut cream

1

date, pitted (optional)

2

tablespoons sea moss gel (optional)

Steps

Strawberry glaze: In a small sauce pot, combine strawberries, maple syrup, and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Once strawberries have begun to release their juices, mash with potato masher or side of fork until broken down but still chunky. Continue to simmer until glaze has thickened and darkened in color, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, transfer to a heat-proof container and refrigerate until cooled, about 30 minutes. Once cooled, add hyaluronic acid (if using) and stir to combine. (This makes enough for 4 smoothies. Strawberry glaze can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks).

Strawberry smoothie: Add yogurt, strawberries, milk, avocado, banana, collagen powder, sea moss gel, and date (is using) to blender. Blend on high until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping down sides of container as needed.

To assemble: Spoon 2 tablespoons coconut cream down the inside of each glass, followed by 2 tablespoons strawberry glaze each. Divide smoothie equally between glasses. Serve.
